Travel has been at the heart of my life for over 15 years, from spending years in Germany in my early 20’s, right through to now, having had some epic adventures in all corners of the world.
I have created the list below of all things travel related that I feel are bucket list worthy, some are UNESCO listed, some I’ve learned of from word of mouth, some are from books and blogs but they all have one thing in common – they are places I definitely want to see in my lifetime.
The most difficult one on this list by far, in my opinion is to visit every country in the world. I’m having a good go, but at the same time I don’t like to rush through just to say I have been somewhere. I reached the 100 countries milestone in Zambia in July 2019.
I admire people who speed around the world to get a Guinness World Record, I think the current record is 554 days, which given there is 196 (ish!) countries less than 3 days per country including travel time however It must be absolutely exhausting to get that many visas, and spend so much time travelling with very little reward or opportunity to see a country in my opinion.
The top 3 favourite things accomplished from this travel bucket list list would be:
Visiting Angel Falls
Visiting Danakil Depression
Visiting the Galapagos Islands
So, go ahead, have a look around, be inspired, you can filter by the completed items, or just browse them all, and as always, if you have any questions, please get in touch via the comments form, or drop me an email by clicking here.
