Overview
Manzini is Eswatini's main commercial town, a working place of minibus ranks, shops and a lively central market. It has few sights of its own, but it is the crossroads of the country and well placed for trips east into the lowveld.
From here it is a short drive to game reserves with rhino, elephant and lion, and to the Great Usutu River. Come for the market, then head out into the bush.

King Mswati III airport is around 45 minutes' drive east of town.
When to go
The dry winter from May to September is best for game viewing, with thinner bush and animals gathering at water. Summer is hot and humid in the lowveld, with afternoon storms.
