Ride A Camel Into The Desert
There are currently three types of surviving camel –Â
The one-humped Dromedary makes up 94% of the world’s camel population
The two-humped Bactrian makes up the remaining 6%
The Wild Bactrian camel is a separate species and is now critically endangered.
Although a camel is not known for being the most comfortable method of travel, there is something magical about exploring a desert with the best adapted animal to that environment.Â
Obviously to experience this, you need a desert – with the Sahara being just on the doorstep one of the most popular places to experience this in Morocco. Click below to check it out.
Personally I would stay away from 3-7 day options – after a few hours your butt cheeks will thank you!Â
