Learn To Play An Instrument

Can you imagine living your life without music?

It would be very hard to do so, as music has been hard-wired into our very existence as human beings.

Everyone has their favourite genres, tastes and songs that have special meanings, we remember occasions from the songs playing at the time.

While everyone enjoys listening to good music, not many of us are what the world calls ‘musicians’- the ones with the ability to play a musical instrument.

This could be due to not having the opportunity to learn as kids or simply due to lack of inclination or proper instruction.

However, music is something that is never too late to learn – I would love to be that guy (or girl) who can just pick up any instrument and smash out a tune, sadly I am not naturally gifted in that department.

However, there are a few instruments I would love to be able to play – guitar and drums. I had a few lessons in my teens with a guitar coach but never stuck at it, and I know I don’t have the coordination for drums but I can dream.

I can only imagine the feeling of being on stage in front of thousands of fans, who are intently listening to the music you and your band play.
