What it is
Sydney's New Year fireworks over the Harbour Bridge are among the world's first.
How to do it
Find a spot early at a harbour vantage point, or book a ticketed area.
Top tip
Bring food and water; vantage points fill up by afternoon.
My experience
Sydney is such an iconic city with its famous Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Alongside New York it is also one of the absolute best places in the world to see in the New Year.
The bridge is adorned with thousands of fireworks not once, but twice as the family show kicks off at 9PM with the main event being at midnight.
The show only lasts for 12 minutes to symbolise the 12 months of the year, but as you can see from this video, its an epic 12 minute show!
