Splash Out On A Lamborghini

Lamborghini – The name just sounds exotic – it is the epitome of a super car, to me, it always has been a dream to own one.

As a kid the boyhood car posters that adorned my walls were of a Lamborghini Diablo – the angles, the lines, they were just beautiful. Looking back now, the Diablo looks a little dated, but I would still have one in a heartbeat, I would love to be the proud owner of a classic Lamborghini.

Lamborghini was founded in 1963 by Ferruccio Lamborghini with the aim of producing a car to compete with Italian rivals Ferrari. You can head more on the history here.

I have driven a Lamborghini on a couple of occasions, the experience is always epic, but doing a track day just isn’t the same as owning one. That is the ultimate dream

Back in 2006 I drove the Lamborghini Gallardo on a track day – excuse the terrible suit and photo!

In 2017 I had a chance to drive the brand new Lamborghini Huracan - what a beast! This car has so much power and the noise it makes is beautiful!

For now, at least, ownership will remain on the bucket list, but one day in my garage I hope to have a Lamborghini or two as well as my other boyhood bucket list dream car, the Dodge Viper.
