The Half marathon distance is 21.0975 km (13 mi 192½ yd)
The half marathon is a great next step from the 10KM, as (almost) any runner will tell you, once you start, the distance always increases from 5, to 10 and then giving a half a go. The training is not as intense as with a full marathon, yet it is still a fabulous achievement to complete the distance.
My times for this event have always been around 1:45:00 (105 minutes) to 1:35:00 (95 Minutes) so a natural target to aim for is the Sub 1:30:00 (90 Minutes) – its a tough ask so could remain illusive for a while!
